The obvious question became, “How can the public validate that the fact-checkers aren’t enforcing their own set of alternative facts?” This is a difficult problem to solve because each individual has a different definition of the truth based on the information and experiences they have been exposed to throughout their lifetime. Which brings me to this conversation with Laura Digiovanni (CEO) of Tiiqu which is a blockchain that aims to solve decentralizing the trust and Qpedia which is a platform that aims to decentralize the validation of information. Their aim to help people understand who knows what, to allow decision makers to choose options that are not tainted by biases.
