“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” - Matthew 7:7
Sometimes I wonder what God would do differently if he was in my shoe, building Medallion XLN from scratch. I’m a Christian, I love me some Jesus. It might not seem like it with the amount of profanity I use in a single sentence. Each morning, I try to wake up early and pray before I start my day. Recently I asked God, “if you were building Medallion XLN starting with the resources I have and in the time I have been building it, What would Jesus do differently?” This article will be those revelations.
Expect victory
The first thing Jesus would do is mentally prepare himself for victory. Throughout the New Testament, Jesus was very adamant about having his “me time” to spend with the Father. I think he was doing that, so he could mentally prepare for the task at hand. In his case, it was to mentally prepare himself to be murdered even though he was the most powerful being on the planet. In Dragon Ball Z, a villain named Kid BUU has a super move that destroys the planet. I’m pretty sure that Jesus could have done that if he wanted to.
Build a team
The 12 disciples are synonymous with Jesus Christ and his works. Jesus demonstrates that even if you are the most powerful being on Earth, working alone does not scale. Imagine if Jesus went around doing all these amazing miracles by himself, and he had no team to witness it. Jesus Christ would be a nobody. No one would know he even existed, and all his amazing achievements would have died with him. Just because you can do it all, doesn't mean you should do it all. One of my favorite quotes is, "You go faster alone, but you go further together."
Be sensitive to timing
One of the repeating themes in the Bible is, “There is a time and a place for everything.” Jesus was notorious for refusing to do miracles because it wasn't the time for it. It doesn’t matter how revolutionary your idea is, if it is not time, the idea will fail. This is why John the Baptist had to go ahead of Jesus to prepare the way. Penetrate the culture and change some habits & mindsets. Otherwise, Jesus would have been bogged down with admin tasks, and he would not have gotten any work done in the period he had to do it. Similarly, Mark Zuckerberg paved the way for Tech entrepreneurs to build their startups and Bitcoin paved the way for Ethereum to popularize Smart Contracts, which then paved the way for Medallion XLN to do what we have planned. This is why I root so hard for Mark Zuckerberg to build out the Metaverse, he's doing all the hard work for us. The decentralized community just has to come along with a better idea and swoop his victory from under his nose.
Remove the limitations
This is where things get fun. Jesus isn’t bound by the rules of this world, so his implementation wouldn’t be limited to existing infrastructure. I was explaining to God how if I had the same goal as Elon Musk, to go to Mars. I would build a collection of Space Station checkpoints from Earth to Mars. So I would launch my Spaceship from Earth to the International Space Station (ISS). Refuel, run diagnostics on the ship then continue the journey to the next checkpoint, and so on. The distance from Earth to the ISS is about 254 miles, we can make that journey very consistently. The distance from Earth to Mars is 33 million miles to 155 million miles, depending on their orbit cycle. So we would need to build about 130,000 Space Station checkpoints for that happy path strategy to work. My plan didn’t account for the ISS being in Earth’s orbit, which is why we can go there so consistently. The other Space Stations without a planet’s orbit would become comets flying through space. So that strategy wouldn’t work. Then God revealed that he would just teleport there. That’s when I realized, of course you would! Such a simple solution, but we haven’t figured out teleportation technology yet. Then God revealed to me, “but I have.”

Jesus’ greatest demand was to repent, “unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:3). Jesus said that “repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Luke 24:46-47).
Seeking to reflect Christ’s example in our own lives, but let’s face it, Jesus had a very different ministry than any of us; making direct parallels is going to be difficult. For instance, what would Jesus do for a paralytic man in need of healing? He would forgive his sins (that would be blasphemy coming from me). What would Jesus do to repeal an evil curse responsible for everything wrong in this world? Well, for starters He would die for it. He is going to overturn tables and money changers, drive out merchants and make bold accusations. Jesus came to deliver divine law, satisfy the demands of justice and fulfill righteousness – these are the kind of things that Jesus would do.
