After 5 long years of inconsistent reading, I finally did it! I read the entire Bible cover to cover. I know a lot of you don’t entertain religious topics, but just humor me. In the Book of Genesis, the first book of the Bible, a great flood occurs that wipes out all ancient life. The great flood wiped out a race of Nephilim who were Giants that tormented the men of that time. Some Giants were worshiped as gods and taught men advanced forbidden knowledge. The Nephilim were the spawn of angels having sexual affairs with human women against God’s will. Generations after Noah, all men on the Earth spoke the same language, some were disgruntled about losing access to their gods and those people gathered together in one location with a singular goal. That place was called Babylon. The people of Babylon had the intention to build a great city with a tower in the center that reached the heavens. After all, the rebellious angels who taught them science and how to make weapons of war were now gone. The tower was their way to reach those gods who drowned in the Great Flood. The Babylonians began to build this great city with bricks and mortar. In the center of this city, the tower that reached the heavens would be seen for miles. The tower of Babel. God came down from heaven to watch the men build this city and Genesis 11:6 says “And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” Then God destroyed the tower and confused everyone with different languages. If left uninterrupted, those men with one goal would’ve accomplished the impossible. They would have built a tower that reached the heavens. Hidden lesson of the Bible; when we all come together with a single goal in mind, nothing is impossible!

The Tower of Babel

A group of people gathered together with a singular goal made Bitcoin dominate the financial world. Bitcoin was introduced as a value transfer alternative that did not need a central bank or any intermediary to be sent to another person. The Genesis block mined the first 50 Bitcoins then early contributors continued to mine bitcoin. For some time, no one knew what to do with Bitcoin, until Laszlo Hanyecz bought two Papa John’s pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin. How has Papa John’s not taken advantage of the Bitcoin Pizza event? Someone should fire Papa John’s Marketing guy, that should be an event at Papa John’s nationwide. Leaving money on the table, Papa Johns smh. This event validated Bitcoin as a currency. Bitcoin could be used to make purchases. People give Laszlo a hard time because 10,000 Bitcoin is now worth $311 million, but it’s a chicken or the egg problem. If Bitcoin Pizza never happened, would 10k Bitcoin even be worth $311m? Silk Road began to accept Bitcoin to pay for drugs. Bitcoin traded 10 million coins during its time on Silk Road. When Silk Road got busted In 2014, the governments of the world started to introduce regulations around Bitcoin. China has become a meme for Banning Bitcoin every year around October. Against all odds, a group of people with a singular goal have done the impossible. Bitcoin can’t be stopped. The ecosystem of cryptocurrencies created by Bitcoin can’t be stopped. The sons of Satoshi dominate financial commerce.

Most startups fail. Most ICOs fail. Most emerging technologies fail. Most currencies fail, but Bitcoin was a success. The decentralized community aligned with a singular goal made it a success. The story of Noah’s Ark represents a separation from the ancient world and now. Stories of Hercules, Zeus, Thor & Odin could have been true, but those gods are dead. The Bible refers to the pantheon of gods that ruled the ancient world as Principalities and Powers. This is our world now! All those ancient people are dead. We create the future!
