Is the metaverse a failure?

There is a lot of talk about how the metaverse is a flop. The people saying this simply don’t understand the metaverse and how it is definitively the future of online data exchange. Mark Zuckerburg gets a lot of slack for his many controversies that involve managing his user’s data and buying up his competition. We can’t forget how he drinks water like a robot would. That being said, his contribution to the technology space cannot be understated. Without going into too much detail he is responsible for bringing us into the data age where we discovered that the nonsense activities we do online are worth billions of dollars to advertisers. He created Reactjs which reimagined frontend web & mobile application rendering. Now Mark Zuckerburg is bringing us into the future with the metaverse. Most people under 40 years old understand the impact the metaverse will have once it is fully realized. We’re talking a fully 3D world where users have unlimited possibilities. Users will be able to build their perfect life that revolve around any of their interests. Think about it like you will be able to walk around a website as it’s own world. Apps will be built that allow users to experience other worlds as if they were in a movie or video game. Eventually the metaverse will overlap into the real world with Augmented reality and create Pokemon Go on steroids. Similar to the way Mark Zuckerburg created Reactjs to improve web performance, he is currently building out tools that will make it easier to build and interact with Virtual Worlds. The meterverse will revolutionize commerce, promotion & advertising. You might think the metaverse is a flop now but only because Meta hasn’t actually done anything yet. Once they make their move, everything will change and those companies that don’t change with it will die. Tiktok might be on top now but Tiktok is only enjoying it’s 15 minutes of fame. The metaverse is the future and similiar to how the earlier builders on Apple’s App Store were rewarded so will the early builders of the metaverse.
