If you have been following Medallion XLN newsletters, then you have most likely got familiar with the personality types of different members of our team.

Finally, there is me, Dwayne the CEO, I already doxxed myself. What makes me so special that I’ve convinced the top talent in the world to help me take on big tech? Medallion XLN is crazy enough to work!

In Jim Collin’s book, Good to Great, he introduced a concept, “First WHO then WHAT.” This concept means that before you can achieve any great thing, you must first assemble a great team. What the blockchain space lacks is a great ambition. We need a project that’s not another copy of a copy of a copy. We need a project that brings blockchain mainstream. Not only that, but we need a killer app! Medallion XLN intends to create an easy-to-use, reusable interface that redefines the web experience. All the elements to redefine what it means to connect are already in place. Keep in mind that all the elements to create Bitcoin’s blockchain were already in place. We just needed the imagination of Satoshi Nakamoto to bring it all together. Medallion XLN represents a similar paradigm. The Whitepaper will explain it on a deeper level. I’m confident beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will completely disrupt Big Tech, but what then? Do we then become the same oppressive force that is big tech? Medallion XLN wants to take us to a Type-3 civilization in the next 50 years.

The Kardashev scale is used to measure the technological advancement in a civilization based on the amount of energy it can use. The hypothetical scale was developed by Nikolai Kardashev to measure the consumption of energy on a cosmic level. From consuming local resources, continental resources, global resources, solar resources, galaxy resources, and universal resources. Type-3 is being able to use universal resources. The highest a civilization can reach is Type-12, which allows you to tap into the power of God Almighty himself 🔥🔥🔥. I’ll leave that for the next generation to figure out. The human race needs a mission statement to unite us, otherwise, we’ll be stuck in all types of wars and nonsense. Reaching Type-3 as a civilization in the next 50 years will unite the human race. Before we can get there, we must know where we are. Currently, we live in a Type-0 civilization, which extracts its raw material resources from the Earth such as wood, fossil fuels, and food. These civilizations face resource exhaustion and economic pressures that can be initiated by natural disasters, leading to extinction. Economic models that profit from Type-0 resource extraction such as the fossil fuel industry want to keep the status quo, they put obstacles in place that make it difficult for our civilization to get past Type-0 into Type-1.

Although we remain at Type-0 for most of the ways we harness the energy, we are on the path to Type-1. Type-1 will be achieved once we can get the majority of the energy we consume directly from the sun. The path to Type-1 was confirmed when I saw small solar panels at the dollar store. The significance being that solar panels are now so cheap they are being sold for $1. We can direct all efforts into converting all fossil fuels into solar energy. Cars such as the Lightyear 0 which is partially powered by solar begin a trend that can lead to the end of fossil fuels. Let’s ditch the gas industry altogether. We need solar to power the majority of cars on the road, factories in production, and cities should receive the majority of their energy from the sun. Then we would have reached Type-1. The benefits we gain from living in this civilization are that the energy from the sun is free and distributed around the world, that’s 24/7/365. The money we save from harnessing the power of the sun can be invested into reaching a Type-2 then Type-3 civilization. No more ridiculous war for resources.
