The Baptism of Christ, 1474-1475, Verrocchio and Leonardo da Vinci. (s)
The odds were stacked against him. Born the illegitimate child of a wealthy Italian notary and an unmarried woman, he was not expected to receive any inheritance. By every measure put before him, this man was not supposed to become as relevant as he has throughout the generations. Leonardo da Vinci, followed his path to become one of history's greatest content creators. He is most notable for becoming a painter, sculptor, musician, architect, anatomist, geologist, engineer, ninja turtle …etc. Painter of such works as “The Mona Lisa”, “The Last Supper”, “The Vitruvian Man”, and the first concept of a helicopter. Sigmund Freud described Leonardo da Vinci, “He was like a man who awoke too early in the darkness, while the others were all still asleep.” Leo started from nothing and sparked the great Renaissance period that lasted 400 years.

The only tools available to Leonardo da Vinci in the 1400s were a pencil, pen, paintbrush, notepad, and sculpting pin. Without Leonardo da Vinci there is no Michelangelo or Rembrandt, no Mozart or Beethoven. Medallion XLN wants to spark a modern Renaissance, we have way more tools than those guys had, and Michelangelo sculpted a statue of David and painted the Sistine Chapel. Our modern civilization has access to Artificial Intelligence such as DALL-2 which can render amazing photos just by typing the description. The Quest 2 allows us to interface in the Metaverse first conceptualized in Snow Crash written in 1991. The Renaissance defined the first millennium. Christ began that Millennium, the trajectory that began with the persecution of the Church, the reign of powerful Kings & Queens, The tyrannical reign of the Pope, The Age of Ghenghis Khan, and The Dark Ages. The life of Leonardo da Vinci sparked a light that shined bright in the first Millennium A.D. The Rennaisance produced some of the greatest art in history. The Renaissance was the solar flare of the first millennium, an incredible moment in time. Medallion XLN is creating all the tools you need for Renaissance 2, Sequels are always better than the original. Medallion XLN is the bright light of the 2nd Millennium.

“ 5.0 TOOLS
Decentralization:
Ownership and Access for Everyone! Medallion XLN wants to make it as cheap and easy as possible to own your data and invest in the data of others. As we flourish as a community, we will empower each other to accomplish our hopes and dreams. As the core company builds new applications & components, we encourage the decentralized community to change the logos and color schemes, then use them to accomplish whatever goal they have in mind.
Data ownership:
Medallion XLN aims to provide our decentralized community with the ability to own and monetize every aspect of their data. Tools are built to provide full control over who can access this data and how it will be shared, and if other users can collaborate with that data. Web2 was defined by what Tech Companies could do with your data, Medallion XLN will define Web3 by what each person can do with their data.
Monetization:
Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations asserts that value is derived from the amount of effort required in developing a product from inception to customer. Content creators put an unlimited amount of effort into producing videos, text, and images to provide entertainment for the internet only to put it out for free. They rely on the advertising model to provide pennies for monetization. According to the founder of capitalism, these digital products should be viewed as assets and therefore be monetized in a way that rewards the creator for the amount of effort that was put into its development.
Interoperability:
Web3 promises to become entirely decentralized from platforms. Currently, that is being demonstrated with extensions such as Meta Mask & Wallet Connect that store your data and then provide verification and authentication to other apps when necessary. Medallion XLN’s goal is to provide a similar experience with digital assets. Imagine owning a profile picture (pfp) that can be imported into any metaverse, with a set of preprogrammed moves and abilities exclusive to only your profile picture. If any user ops out of paying a creator, then they simply will not see that creator’s work. When enough creators participate in this system, eventually the only way to access creator content will be by paying for it on Medallion XLN. As long as the content is priced in a reasonable enough way, then both users and creators will work and profit together in symbiosis.
Censorship Resistance:
A free society needs the ability to think freely. There cannot be a centralized authority determining what is “Right Think” & “Wrong Think”. This of course is a double-edged sword because there are people who have ideas that a large portion of society believes are extremely dangerous. Ideas such as Racism, Nazism, and committing mass genocide. Although these ideas only represent a small portion of the population, these ideas can influence others to commit horrendous acts of violence. Therefore, it makes sense to give that power to censor individual content to the community. The community can filter content they individually find annoying for their taste or report it and the community can decide if they want to de-prioritize the content to the lowest value, which will make it extremely hard to find. We can’t completely delete it because the data is persisted on the blockchain. I think this is an honest conversation that needs to be had because No-Censorship can be just as harmful as censorship, so there should be a way for people to filter out what they are not comfortable being exposed to. “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”
